Research Assistantship –
Methane Dry Reforming
The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering
at Mississippi State University is seeking one PhD student and one
Master student. The research topic will involve municipal solid waste to liquid
hydrocarbons production via gasification and catalytic conversion.
The research team members have unique expertise in the
fields of biomass pretreatment, gasification, and syngas to hydrocarbon catalytic
conversion. The research program offers interdisciplinary research
opportunities on biomass thermal chemical processing and catalytic conversion.
The selected graduate research assistant will be offered a research
assistantship with tuition and health insurance benefit.
The candidate should have bachelor’s degree/s in material
science, chemical engineering, or related area. Previous experiences in
catalyst preparation and tubular reactor processing are desirable but not
required. Interested qualified applicants are encouraged to send their resume,
